T3CH, an Amadeus event
Yesterday, we took part in Amadeus’ 2019 T3CH conference, which took place in Madrid. Some of the biggest names in technology and in travel were there to discuss various topics, from data security to AI.
Amadeus is a multicultural, multinational travel company, with over 17000 employees scattered across the world. We’ve been working with Amadeus since 2014, providing them with innovative solutions to source, screen and retain tech talent.
Amadeus initiated this year’s T3CH conference with collaboration and dialogue between tech professionals at heart. Through the organization of this event, Amadeus support innovation and change in the technology field.
Outstanding speakers, such as Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, attended the event – and we are extremely proud to have been invited to take part.
Frédéric Desmoulins and René Jullien take to the stage
Frédéric Desmoulins, our CEO, took to the stage to talk about “How Top Companies Build Great Tech Teams”, alongside René Jullien, Head of Developer Experience at Amadeus. A self-taught developer himself, with strong expertise in tech talent management, Frédéric discussed how to find developers, how to uncover hidden gems, and how to retain top tech talent.
René presented the results of Amadeus and CodinGame’s long-term collaboration. René also took this opportunity to share Amadeus’ “Unleash the Geek” experience with the room. Indeed, for the past four years, CodinGame has organized an annual, international, game-based hackathon for Amadeus. Every year, Amadeus programmers from all over the globe (over 500 developers from over 20 sites) take part in this not-to-be-missed event.
As part of their team building efforts, “Unleash the Geek” brings Amadeus’ tech teams closer together and shines light on their company culture.
